The Technical Unit at Kaukovainio welcomes international partners for a visit in 2025. During the visit, you will become familiar with the Unit, its fields of study, and learning environments. You will also learn about the Finnish education system and have the opportunity to network with various partners.

Schedule of visits 2025
The next available visiting week will take place from 30 September to 3 October 2025. The detailed schedule will be published before summer 2025.
Please note that the maximum amount of visitors for the week is 15. If the number of registered participants is low, we reserve the right to cancel the international week or reschedule it to another time.

Monday
9:30 a.m. Welcome to the unit! General introduction of OSAO and the unit.
10:30 a.m. Introduction to studying at OSAO, personal competence development plan, support services for students (e.g. special needs education).
11:30 a.m. Student tutor talks about studying at OSAO
Noon. Lunch and time for networking
1 p.m. Meet & greet – Introductions of the Head of School, Head of Studies and heads of departments.
Tuesday
9:00 a.m. Getting to know one of the fields and learning environments
Noon. Lunch and time for networking
2 p.m. Getting to know common units, highway and dual qualification studies
Wednesday
9:00 a.m. Getting to know one of the fields and learning environments
Noon. Lunch and time for networking
2 p.m. International OSAO. International networks and internationalisation at home.
Thursday
9:00 a.m. Getting to know one of the fields and learning environments
Noon. Lunch and time for networking
1 p.m. Getting to know one of the fields and learning environments
Friday
9:00 a.m. Getting to know one of the fields and learning environments
11:00 a.m. Lunch and time for networking
Noon. End discussion, feedback, follow-up plans.
